DEAD ICONS - 2008-2013

After high school, Stanley co-founded the Lexington, KY hardcore punk band, Dead Icons. The band was active from 2008-2013 and played over 500 shows during that time. They started by self booking full US tours through MySpace (wow), and ended up playing shows all over the US, Canada, Mexico, and Puerto Rico. They put out a 6 song demo in 2008, a four song split CD in 2009, a 5 song EP called Vultures in 2010, and then finally in 2012 they signed with Bullet Tooth Records and released their full length "Condemned."

Over those five years, they had the pleasure of touring with a ton of great bands including Counterparts, Foundation, Harm's Way, Shai Hulud, Thick as Blood, Call to Preserve, A Plea For Purging, and others. They were featured in Hails & Horns, Alternative Press, and press outlets.

They also retired two 15 passenger vans. RIP Al Green & Al Blue.
